"As march approaches, the harsh climate of the Antartic worsens with the cutting winds. This march, the rest of the heard had been either lost, killed or poached. In such a situation- she still insists in finding food for her newborn, and he stands fast courageously to endure the lone and harsh wait of 65-70 days. They both know what has to be done, and it will be done. The egg will be transferred between his feet, where he will keep it warm- and she will go hunt for food. They share an intimate moment- a minute before she leaves alone for the hunt that decides their fates."
(This really happens, the male emperor penguins usually stand still for 65-70 days with no food at all. Guarding and warming the newborn's egg. The female's usually have to go all the way to the water (sea?ocean?) to get food, which they bring back. The egg has to be transferred from the female to the male within 2-3 seconds or it will freeze to death, and many do.)
and best of all, you've managed to make it intimate without using the cliche heart-shape thing which became an iconic thing for penguins and lovey-dovey stuff...

You're welcome. Though, really, I'm just one of those weird people who visits the featured deviations when people put 'em up on their journals. What can I say...
Not only are penguins fun, but most girls now love them to a fair extent. Which may or may not actually be used to anyone's adavantage ever...

Finally I found the time and effort to do another watchers feature. A lot of new-comers have shown up since the last feature, and I want to thank them all for being interested in my works. Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
We will start submitting "Nature Photography Tips" news articles once every 2 weeks
Anyone can share with us what they know about the topic. In this blog [link] , we announced the topic, and many members have shared their knowledge and experiences with us
